impressum supports the European congress of gastroenterologists in Berlin
The PR agency from Hamburg provided international media relations, a congress programme for journalists and a congress newspaper for the largest gastroenterology congress in Europe with more than 14,000 participants.
For the eighth time, impressum health & science communication was in charge of extensive communication measures for the annual European congress of gastroenterologists (UEG Week – United European Gastroenterology Week). UEG Week is the largest and most prestigious gastroenterology meeting in Europe and has developed into a global congress. It attracts over 14,000 doctors, scientists and nurses each year, from more than 120 countries, and numbers are steadily rising.
The 21st UEG Week at the ICC Berlin in October has offered journalists a unique opportunity to obtain first-hand expert information on diseases of the stomach, bowel, oesophagus, liver, pancreas and gallbladder, which affect millions of people. UEG Week provides a forum for basic and clinical scientists from across the globe to present their latest research in digestive and liver diseases. In the accompanying industry exhibition, more than 120 companies presented new drugs and innovative high-tech devices for diagnosis and therapy.
The congress team from impressum supported the meeting with targeted communication measures: for the attending journalists, there was an accompanying programme with press conferences for lay and specialist media, a press centre and daily press releases. In addition, impressum produced a congress newspaper that provided the delegates with up-to-date information about the congress programme.
